Dr. Ong graduated cum laude from
Newcomb College of Tulane University with a bachelor of science in Cell and Molecular Biology and Anthropology and received her medical degree from the
Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA. She completed her internship at
Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, VA and her ophthalmology residency at
Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN.
She is a Fellow of the
American Academy of Ophthalmology, and a member of the
American Medical Association and the
Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
She is proficient in Dutch and Spanish, and enjoys traveling, music, and running.
